About Us
Golden Fluff SD cattery is located in San Diego, California, USA. We are a TICA-registered cattery that specializes in Golden British Longhair and Shorthair Cat (AY, NY, CY, point color). All of our kings and queens receive annual and prior pairing genetic checks for HCM, PKD, Pk-def, and PRA-b. Good health is our top priority. Our cats were chosen for temperament and friendliness. Only the most healthy and nicest temperaments were chosen to participate in our breeding program. Our goal is not just creating life but to bring to the world the most healthy with the nicest temperament kittens that have the traditional Golden Longhair and Shorthair gorgeousness.

The British cats originated in Great Britain in the early 20th century cats. Much of the history of the British longhair is associated with their relation to their namesake and ancestor, the British shorthair. They come in with a whole range of fur and eyes colors. Both British shorthair and longhair have similar temperament and care. They come in a variety of fur and eye color. Our cattery focuses exclusively on breeding Golden British Shorthair and Longhair cats that have the most stunning golden coats with deep emerald eyes. We've been passionate about these felines for years and take great pleasure in ensuring that our cats are not only healthy, but have the most joyful demeanor. We've carefully chosen our breeding cats based on their personalities and excellent health, in order to provide our clients with the best possible kitten. Unlike many purebred breed, British cats are extremely healthy with no outstanding genetic diseases. They're incredibly intelligent, social, and affectionate. The British is a loyal breed that loves people and is tolerant of most environments. Though they're very social, these cats also have an independent streak and often feel fine doing their own thing.

All of our cats are pure bred pedigreed British shorthair and longhair cats. We do thorough genetic testing as well as health assessment before letting them participate in our breeding program. They were chosen for their out standing looks and structures among the most healthy and best temperaments cats. Each queen will have no more than 3 litters every 2 years. We socialize them from a young age with kids, cats, dogs, and everyday living scenes and sounds. They are trained to accept a variety of food, a habit of drinking a lot of water so you wont need to worry about UTI risk, they are litter boxed trained as well as how to play with humans and other pets. They won’t use their claws to scratch and will never bite. We also shower them quite often so they are not afraid of water either, you will have a very easy time washing them. They are very well rounded little babies🌸
What to expect:
Retired cat?
The kittens will be ready to go home at 4 month old. Their reservation will be open at 4 weeks old. I don’t do waitlists so it will be based on a first come first serve basis. The babies will have 3 rounds of vaccines, insurance for the first month at home, dewormed, desexed, microchip, FIV/FELV testing, health guarantee etc. please follow our Instagram @goldenfluffsd for more kittens updates

We do retired our breeding cats very early ( 2-3 years old). Our hope is that they will be able to spend the majority of their life while they are still young and energetic to enjoy the spoiled life they deserved in pet family. We are extremely picky on who will be the forever family for our breeding kings and queens. Often, they will be offer to the right family when we see them inquire. All of our retired cats will be 2000, they will be up to date with shot, deworm, desex, vet checked. We have atrial period on their contract so that if things dont work out, our cat will comeback to us with a refund.
In person Visit?
Unfortunately, The babies will have their first round of vaccine at 8 weeks old, 2 rounds at 12 weeks old, and 3rd round at 16 weeks old. I won’t allow visitors. We can do facetime, video etc but unfortunately I can’t afford any in-person visit at this point. They are very vulnerable so if we are unlucky, a whole liter might get something fatal.
